Not only is Calvin Johnson one of the top two receivers in all of football, he also can swing the lumber. Last night before the Pirates-Tigers game at Comerica Park in Detroit, Johnson was taking some hacks with the Tigers during batting practice before throwing out the first pitch. Johnson looked extremely comfortable in the cage sporting the Tigers hat backwards, a look made famous by Ken Griffey Jr.
The video of his home run is posted below, with the homer coming at :56 second mark. Johnson played baseball in high school.
Apparently the "Madden Curse" does not apply to baseball related activities.
